Before you search

A face is a starting point.

Every match needs context.

Follow the source

Results link to public pages. Open the original to understand where and how a photo appears.

Look beyond the score

Similarity describes appearance. It does not establish identity or verify a profile.

All questions →
What should I upload?

Use a clear, well-lit photo with one adult face looking toward the camera. You can crop a larger image before continuing. Use your own photo, or an adult’s photo only with their explicit permission for this processing.

How much does a search cost?

Each search is a one-time purchase. See Pricing for the current price. There is no subscription or recurring payment. Checkout currently charges nothing and returns example results.

What does the similarity score mean?

It measures visual resemblance according to the search provider. It is not a probability that two people are the same person, and it is not evidence of identity or wrongdoing.

Are my photos saved?

Cropping happens in your browser. A search sends the cropped image through Cloudflare to FaceCheck.ID. Optional history saves the crop and results on this device only. The provider’s processing and retention are described in our Privacy Policy and Biometric Notice.

Photo privacy

When you search

Your cropped photo is sent securely through People Finder to FaceCheck.ID. The current search returns example results, not matches to your photo.

Local history and deletion

If you allow optional local history, it is saved in this browser, not on a People Finder account. Delete a search to remove its saved photo and results, or clear all history in Settings.

Our support records do not intentionally store submitted photos or result links. FaceCheck.ID processes the uploaded photo under its privacy policy.

Storage and your choice

Strictly necessary local storage keeps your anonymous search credit and your privacy choice. Optional local storage keeps search history only if you allow it. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time under Settings → Privacy choices. See the Cookies & Storage Policy.

Biometric processing

A face image can be biometric data when processed to find a person. We send the cropped photo to FaceCheck.ID only after your explicit consent. Read the Biometric Search Notice before searching.

Payment and analytics

Checkout does not collect payment details or charge money. People Finder does not use an account, subscription, email list, or advertising analytics.

Your control

You can cancel before starting a search. Once processing begins, it may not be possible to stop it.

Responsible use

Authorized photos only

Search only your own photo or one you have written authorization to use.

Possible, never proven

A visual similarity result is a lead to review, not identity, guilt, truth, or verification.

Respect people

Never bully, shame, threaten, stalk, surveil, or embarrass anyone.

Never search minors

Do not submit a child’s face, even if the photo is publicly visible.

No high-stakes decisions

Never use results for employment, housing, credit, insurance, safety, legal, financial, or eligibility decisions.
